Spotlight: Generations on Line

Over the past four years the East Mount Airy Neighbors Community Fund has given out over $348,000 in grants via the Philadelphia Foundation.  This year we are celebrating nine incredible organizations and giving out over $90,000.

Generations on Line (GoL) has a mission to reconnect the generations and reduce social isolation of seniors by reducing the barriers to Internet use for older adults. The organization proposes to develop a community-driven program for easy access and Internet training for low-income elders.

The organization has a range of programs from PC Training,  to the Sit and Swipe Cafes which help seniors access and use tablets.

Check out all the programs and events available though GoL here.
