Philadelphia Police Department will host Police/Community Forums

Throughout the city this Thursday, September 30th, from 6-8 PM, each district will have a meeting at this time. The goal of these forums is to allow the public to share their thoughts and concerns on all issues, ranging from neighborhood crime to police misconduct. Police personnel from many departments --- commanders, Internal Affairs, Police Advisory Commission and Councils, police clergy --- will be attending. The forum for the14th District will take place at New Bethel AME Church, 6153 Germantown Avenue.  EMAN’s next Community/Board Meeting will be on Tuesday evening, October 5th at 7 PM at the EMAN office (basement, Wiedemann Bldg., Lutheran Theological Seminary Campus, 7301 Germantown Ave.) We’d be happy to see you there! This month’s meeting will feature a special informational presentation by the Germantown EARN Center, which is dedicated to helping job seekers develop the skills necessary to gain employment with companies and organizations in NW Philadelphia.
