On Wednesday, September 22nd, The Mt. Airy Business Improvement District(BID) will hold its annual meeting, at 6:30 PM in Hagan Hall at Lutheran Theological Seminary. Although only members of the corporation can vote in the election for board members, the public is welcome to attend the meeting, hear reports, and meet new BID Executive Director Hollie Malamud-Price.
EMAN’s membership campaign is still underway. We’d love to have your support.
Not an event, but certainly worth noting: Congratulations to EMAN member Jill Murray, who won 2nd prize for “Individual Combination Gardens” in the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s City Gardens Contest. Quite an accomplishment, with hundreds of entrants!
Correction: In the last Newsletter, the date for MALT’s 2nd Fall Speaker Series event was incorrect — It’s Wednesday November 10th, not the 11th. My apologies.
